I think my favourite thing about online social networks like Blogger and Facebook is the ability to have a different kind of conversation with our friends by sharing things that amuse us. I'm currently having a youtube link war on Facebook, and I find it pretty cool how my friend and I can have an ongoing conversation, share our favourite music or even insult one another... simply through linking videos!
Am keen to see how you'll contribute to the DIGC202 conversation this year.
So you like Bon Iver :) What other music/artists are you into?? Have you considered doing something related to music and social networks for the research project?

I do like Bon Iver, and definitely biased in choosing that song haha. @AJobst, I am doing the research project on ethical and legal implications of music online! :) @nomi, YouTube is a huge procrastinator for me, and I have several friends on Facebook who I regularly share links with too.
ReplyDeleteI think music is the best way to bond - to create a network! I too love Bon Iver ... instead of saying 'I am going to bed' I say to my housemates 'It's Bon Iver time' he is so soothing... My best friends name is Emma too and she likes to think he sings about her ... except she vows she would have never broken his heart! haha! I will keep tuned in to your blogs - we can create a network of Bon Iver lovers!
